So as the title says, I sort of cheated with this topic. As I was looking at my shelves I realized that I actually do not have a lot of series that I haven’t read with the exception of one full completed series that I hope to get to soon. So, honestly, I am just going to list the series, trilogies, and duologies that I own and need to get to.
001. The Seven Realms series by Cinda Williams Chima.
The reason I have yet to read this is that honestly? I am pretty darn intimidated by this. Even though I am an avid reader and lover of this series, there is just something that puts me off about this. I’ve heard that it is quite phenomenal and that Cinda Williams Chima is an incredible writer, so hopefully, I can at least start this series this year.
002. The Legend Trilogy by Marie Lu
I have had this trilogy for two years now because two years ago I wanted everything and anything Dystopia. I’ve read Marie Lu’s other book TYE and love her writing style and will definitely at least pick up the first book this year!
003. The Darkest Minds Trilogy by Alexandra Bracken.
Can someone please tell me why these books are so heavy? I mean for a paperback book, I’m a little confused. I have yet to read this because I am also intimidated by these books.
004, The Orphan Queen by Jodi Meadows
I actually got an arc of the second book but ah, I’ve never even heard of the duology when I got it. But it seems right up my ally and I do hope to start this soon!
005. Snow Like Ashes trilogy by Sara Raasch
I actually have not heard much about this book other than what I’ve seen in a few book tube videos, but this trilogy sounded super intriguing and for Christmas, I asked my mom for the first book and she surprised me by buying me all of them!
006 Raven Boys by Maggie Steifvater
This series is beyond hyped I almost don’t want to read it but at the same time it sounds right up my alley and perfect for the fall time! All I can say is that I hope that this lives up to what everyone is saying!
007. Kingfountain series by Jeff Wheeler
This is one of those books that you see all the time and you’re like oh my gosh it’s so pretty I need it and that was the case for this book. However, I DO intend to actually read this… sometime in the future.
008. The Dark Artifices by Cassandra Clare
Okay look, I actually have yet to finish the Mortal Instruments but I really really want to start this trilogy because word across the grapevine is that this is the best of her series and I just really want to read this soon but I still have TMI to finish.
009. The Diviners by Libba Bray
Kind of bummed I don’t have the version with the super nice cover, but… it’s what is on the inside that counts right? This is another thing that I have heard nothing but fantastic things about and I actually bought this with the intention of reading it LAST fall which uh, obviously did not happen.
010. Wintercraft by Jenna Burtenshaw
This is actually kind of a funny story, well, to me it is. I bought this off book outlet because the synopsis was like WHOA I need this now. I go to Goodreads to log it as ‘to read’ and come to find that it is the third book in a trilogy and now I need to actually buy the first two books and I’ve also spoiled myself.
So that was my mixture of series, trilogies, and duologies that I just need to read and I aspire to read sometime in the near future! What are some series that you are looking forward to starting?
